Post Treatment Advice
Here are a few tips that we suggest to enhance the effect of our treatment:
-
It is normal to feel a little tired, very relaxed or energised after a treatment.
-
Some people can feel a little light-headed after a session. This is normal and related to the release of endorphins during treatment. We suggest having a light snack and rest post-treatment in this case.
-
Drink at least 2-3 glasses of water following an Acupuncture session to assist any toxins to be flushed out of the body.
-
Sometimes small bruises, lumps or pain may occur after treatment. This is an indication of stagnation and blockages in the body moving and clearing. They will usually resolve within a few days.
-
We recommend avoiding vigorous exercise and alcohol post-treatment as your body is rebalancing and adjusting to the changes.
-
Try to remember or take notes of how you responded to treatment. This is important for us to know so that follow-up treatments can be designed to best assist you.
